![]() From Joe Paulo: September 11, 2001 is a day like none of us has ever seen. Words cannot begin to describe the tragedy the United States of America faces. As we all fight back tears for our fellow countrymen, friends, and families, please join together to do whatever we can from here in the Carolinas. Give blood, donate to charities directly involved in relief efforts such as the Red Cross, and, most importantly, PRAY without ceasing. Pray that the Holy Spirit will minister peace beyond understanding and that people will turn to our Almighty God and Savior. Psalm 91 says "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" But it will not destroy us or weaken our resolve. America has always rallied and drawn strength when it has faced tragedy and danger-and it will do so again. We need to pull our loved ones close, and to turn to the God of our fathers Who gave us solace and guidance in past troubling times."
